About me
I have been working professionally in the performing arts industry in some aspect for over 25 years now. I started as an actor, however, I learned quickly that the key to steady work and marketability was developing a diverse and proven expertise in as many aspects as possible. Therefore, with every job I was hired on regardless of the position, I would ask as many questions as I could. I would volunteer for anything and everything. I would take classes, read, and when possible take risks and put what I had learned to work and sometimes just find myself in a position where I was filling a role or position out of need and it was hands on training. All of that work paid off and transformed me into a an incredibly versatile artist and theatre professional. From the business side to the artistic end, I have worked in almost every position and have a deep appreciation and respect for every single role one plays in running a successful performing arts company or production.Additional skills:
Strong Marketing Skills, Published Playwright, Educator, Excellent Carpentry Skills, Strong Computer Knowledge and Experience with Many Programs (Google Suite, Quickbooks), Strong Improv Training/Experience, Professional Acting/Vocal Coach, Masterclass/Workshop Instructor, Able To Work Well Under Pressure, Perfect Driving Record
Additional information:
I am a VERY passionate artist. I love the performing arts and appreciate everything about the arts. I love the business aspects and studying trends and constantly study and read what is happening on a National level. I have dedicated my life to this industry and my goal is to be able to do just continue to do what I love and impact as many people as I can and influence, inspire and enlighten people through the power of the performing arts. I don't have a goal to necessarily become famous...my goal though is to be known when all is said and done to have made a difference in someway in the world of performing arts. That is what continues to motivate me and push me to be better everyday.
