About me
I am a freelance director and assistant director with particular interests in new writing, comedy and puppetry.After training with Little Angel Adult Puppetry Company and Stonecrabs Young Directors Programme, I directed a professional revival of Alistair McDowall's CAPTAIN AMAZING with the addition a puppet at the Albany Theatre.
I am co-artistic director of Hatch It Theatre, whose debut play, WHALEBONE, was named runner-up for the NSDF award and included in The Stage's "Highlights of the Fringe" when staged at the Pleasance in 2017.
More recently, I was Resident Director at the Oxford Playhouse (2017-18), and directed PLANET EARTH III (2018, sold out run at Soho Theatre) and INFINITE CONTENT (2019, sold out at Edinburgh Fringe and VAULT).
Credits as assistant director include VULCAN 7 (Jonathan Church Productions), PETER PAN (Oxford Playhouse) and JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (Oxford Playhouse).
