About me
I'm a young multifaceted talented costume designer; driven to produce authentic designs, historical referenced as well as eclectic ensembles. I like it to also fuel my creativity by dissecting film, tv, theatre, poetry, novels and biographies that share different perspectives from all walks of life. I'm looking forward to opportunities like this to help expand my knowledge within the practice. I have some experience of working on short films with passionate creatives, which has given me a lot more insight into the film production process. In addition to that I’ve made 17th century garments for small productions as well as dressing for student plays, casting, measuring and dressing for the CSM white show in 2021 and more recently in dressing for spring fashion week 2022 for Bora Aksu and Mark Fast.I also sometimes volunteer at a community summer school based in North London, teaching young individuals design, illustration and fashion based skills.
