About me
I have been a children's chaperone since November 2012 and have had considerable experience of working with children in all environments including television, advertisements, films, photoshoots as well as theatre. I have worked for a number of Agencies over the past years in these fields. However my main enjoyment is the theatre and I have worked on several shows including Macbeth at Trafalgar Studios for just over 3 months in 2013, In 2014 I chaperoned at The Railway Children for approximately two and a quarter years during its run at King's Cross Theatre, In August 2015 I helped to chaperone a large number of children over 5 days in rehearsals and performances of Oliver for the summer youth project at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford. From mid March to mid June 2017 I was lead chaperone to 3 boys in the play Room at the Theatre Royal Stratford East followed by a week at the Dundee Rep Theatre., During 2018 I was called in as a dep chaperone on a number of occasions at both The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre and Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre. From the end of November to the end of December 2018 I was based in Glasgow for a month to help chaperone 6 boys, on a rota of two at a time, in The Bodyguard Tour at the Theatre Royal.Additional skills:
On July 7 2015 I attended a Level 2 safeguarding course on “Introduction to Working Together to keep Children & Young People safe” that was run by the Harrow Local Safeguarding Children Board.
On March 9 2016 I subsequently attended a Level 3 Risk Assessment and Decision Making in Safeguarding Children course run by Harrow Local Safeguarding Board.
In April 2017 I attended a First Response (First Aid) course run by Greater London Middlesex West Scouts.
In September 2017 I attended a chaperone training course run by Harrow Council.
In September 2018 I undertook an online chaperone training course for NSPCC as required by the BBC.
