About me
I could tell you that I am organized, hardworking and a team player but those three words are said over and over on CV's they tell you nothing about me so instead I have this to say.Costume has been my guide, passion and my hobby, it has taken my through my degree and in to a career that I have a great passion for, not many people are lucky enough to make there hobby a job but I am determined to do so, and make the most of every opportunity and never give up on my passion.
Some of my greatest passions are film, theatre, costume and design. I often visit the theatre, especially in London's West End, and enjoy visiting Museums. Period dramas, historical documentaries influence my design work greatly. I was recently a finalist in a national costume Design competition called Mad UK where I had to design and make a costume which pushed the boundaries of sculptural art on the body. In my degree I have worked with authors such as Curtis Jobling to make costumes for photo shoots and book tours. I have also designed and made costumes for an opera performance by Birmingham Opera Student.
