About me
I came to directing from a career as a professional actor, over the course of which I worked consistently in Theatre from New Writing and Shakespeare to Musical Theatre, regionally, abroad and in London (Michael MacLiammoir Best Actor Award Winner, Dublin 2007) I feel that my background as an actor massively informs my practice as a director; I understand the process and craft of an actor and value this skill in a collaborative, creative, process. I also have experience of working with dramaturgy and directing new plays.I have a vast amount of experience working with Youth Groups in both educational and Theatre contexts as well as investigating and practicing inclusive theatre with a specific emphasis on an autistic audience. I have also undertaken work with community groups including those 'at risk' and over 60's.
Most recently I have begun to work in film and television as a Child Wrangler/Director.
Additional skills:
Dramaturgy, Devising, Movement, Puppetry, Mask, Shakespeare, Youth Work, Inclusive Practice.

Michael MacLiammoir Best Actor Award Winner, Dublin 2007
