About me
I've been interest in technical theatre and design since I was in middle school and have spent my time since then gaining every opportunity to learn. I find myself drawn to the little objects that add to a story’s complexity. I love adding that final object that adds depth to a character or environment that makes it that much closer to being “real”. I want to delve further into these choices and how they change an audience’s perception of a story. I feel that this interest in detail is vital for creating worlds with depth, true emotion, and clarity and the reason why I am so drawn to props. I'm looking to continue learning and growing in the props field.Additional skills:
Wood working, machine sewing, hand sewing, color matching, faux painting, basket weaving, book making, small practical effects, drafting, foam carving, model making
Industry awards:
B. Iden Payne Award Nomination for Outstanding Puppetry - Enron, UT Department of Theatre and Dance, Enron Raptor Team
