PLAYING AGE: 22-30

Alex has over 15 years acting experience in film and theatre and at the age of 15 won awards for best youth performance at the National One Act Play Festival. When he moved to Birmingham he was part of various theatre groups not least of which saw him cast as the lead role, Septimus, in Tom Stoppard's 'Arcadia'. Alex's time in Birmingham also included an acclaimed performance as the schizophrenic 'Skinlad' in a production of Jim Cartwright's 'Road' amongst a string of well received fringe productions. Prior to graduating in 2012 he worked with improv troops in France and India and he has since worked on other theatre productions before beginning to work more progressively on screen since 2013. After several roles in short films Alex was cast as the lead, Aaron Walker, in the upcoming British film Get Gone (2017) where he worked with fellow acting talents Larry Rew (Underworld: Rise of the Lycans) and Danny Fitzsimmons (Billy Elliot: The Musical).

Alex immerses himself in his roles meticulously and as such is well accustomed to accent and physical training for parts; he is best described as "a character actor in a leading male's body".

Athletic in build and with modelling experience Alex also speaks fluent French and conversational Spanish and Italian. He is interested in any role whose material is sincere and inspiring.
