About me

My name is Alice - I am a French-Bulgarian dancer based in London, Islington. I have been dancing since the age of 4, starting off with Ballet and later on specialising in Commercial/Jazz-Funk and Hip-Hop.

Over the past few years I have been expanding my artistry with training in urban styles such as House, Locking, Popping, Waacking and Afro/Dancehall, which I now incorporate into my movement.

Alongside this I make sure I maintain my technique at an excellen level. 


My professional credits include Levi's 2017 TV commercial Circles on song Makeba by Jain.
 In 2019, I obtained a role as backing dancer in Bollywood film Street Dancer 3 (sequel to ABCD 1 and 2), directed by world-famous director Remo D'Souza, and starring Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Prabhu Deva, as well as world-class dancers such as Dharmesh and members of NBC World of Dance 2019 winning crew Kings United. 


More recently, I had the immense privilege to perform on stage with Kenrick Sandy's world-famous Hip-Hop company Boy Blue as part of a piece that served as curtain raiser for contemporary dance company Chrysalis, during their latest show at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre in North London.

In July 2019, I took part in two Bollywood music videos directed by reputed Indian choreographer Mudassar Khan and his team. One was for song Aa Jaana by Darshan Raval and Prakriti Kakar, and the other for song Takda Rava by Vishal Mishra.

Additional skills:
I have trained in classical piano for over 20 years and play at semi-professional level. I also speak 5 languages fluently (English, French, Bulgarian, Russian, Spanish). Aside from dance, I work as a freelance journalist and translator.
Additional information:
Originally of Bulgarian descent, I was born and raised in Paris and moved to London at the age of 18. Since then, London has been my home.
I also spent a year living in Russia - first in Saint Petersburg, then in Moscow. Over the year, I have ventured out to South America, Asia and Africa.
I would generally define myself as a multicultural individual, who is always open to new encounters and discoveries. I like to call myself a citizen of the world, and am a firm believer that the only way forward is through connecting with people and diving deep into other cultures and worlds.
Aside from my dance career I work as a freelance journalist and translator and am deeply passionate about art history.
Personality-wise, I am a hard working, curious, and multi-talented individual. My motto: take your passion, make it happen!!
