About me

I'm a trained Actress of mixed-race origin who's been living in London for 18 years. I often work as an Extra or a commercial Model because I neither have the time nor interest in being be a full-time actress. I'm also a classically trained musician (flute, piano + self-taught guitar), a singer-songwriter, ex-ballet dancer, martial arts practitioner (Kick and Thai Boxing, Wing Chun), meditator and qualified Yoga teacher.

My Acting training goes all the way back to secondary school. I studied Drama for 3 years with a French theatre company called Clin d'Oeil. We toured nationally and internationally (France, Canada...) with the support of the Theatre du Fil d'Arianne, a well know French theatre company. Unfortunately, I cannot have my acting training credited in the 'Education' section of my profile because the company I've trained with no longer exists, so Mandy cannot verify my training. Yet I've acted in many plays and in several short films. I've also appeared in numerous films as an (often, featured) Extra/Supporting Artiste since 2005. I'm very familiar with the film industry, having worked in it for 14 years (please, see "employment credits" on my profile).

I went to a French music conservatory (Ecole de Music de Verneuil-sur-Avre) where I graduated in Music Theory, Piano and Flute (Grade 8). I play self-taught guitar, write my own songs and dabble in music production and programming. I trained as a classical Ballet dancer for 9 years in France (Ecole de Danse de Verneuil-sur-Avre) and further trained as a Contemporary Ballet dancer in Montreal where I went to university. My academic background is in Visual Arts (BA, MA) and Higher Education Teaching (PGCHE). I'm a qualified University Tutor (12 years), a Wellbeing expert and a freelance Trainer, i.e. a confident presenter and public speaker.

I'm creative, passionate and versatile. I've got many skills, in various forms of self-expression: acting, singing, dancing, music, martial arts, communication, writing, visual arts and sometimes, simply, being.... All my pics on my profile are recent. I'm fit and athletic, thanks to my yoga/martial arts training and practice, and my healthy lifestyle. I'm a confident multi-disciplinary performer who can take on many different roles and jobs. I adapt easily to any kind of work environments. I like to engage with people from all walks of life. I'm confident, reliable, committed and professional, both in the way I work and I conduct myself.
Acting experience:
For 3 years (12 to 15), I trained as an Actor with a French theatre group based in my Secondary school called Clin d'Oeil. We appeared in many productions and did a lot of stage acting, both at home and during national and international tours (Brittany, Canada...) In Paris, I directed a Woody Allen's play at the local community centre when I was only 16. I did not pursue Acting as a carrier because I've always considered myself primarily as a musician and singer-songwriter. Yet I can definitely act and I've got extensive experience of working on films and TV series.

Additional information:
I can travel easily to any part of the country and abroad. I'm freelance so my schedule is flexible. I always deliver to the best of my ability.
