About me
I have been acting since 1977 and have worked in every area of the business except the circus. On television I was a regular character in two series of The Hello Girls and two series of The Belfry Witches, both for the BBC. I have appeared in over 60 other TV shows and occasionally pop up as Sergeant Lewis in Eastenders. Feature films include The Canterville Ghost (with Patrick Stewart) and Julius Caesar (with Richard Harris and Christopher Walken).I also played the second lead in a long-forgotten American feature film called A Man Called Sarge.
I have played leading roles in regional theatre all over Britain, and have appeared in Shakespeare in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, the Lebanon, India, China and the USA. In the 1980s I worked as a stand-up comic on the London comedy circuit and on radio and television.
I also work as a university lecturer and corporate trainer
