About me

I retired from a stressful career in social care about three years ago and after a weight loss programme with the Cambridge Weight Plan felt a returning confidence but no wish to return to my former occupation. So, on my son's suggestion, I began as life model August 2011. I have found it both creative and rewarding and creating many opportunities for trying new and exciting ventures. Such as : theatre, short films, feature film, role play, commercial work , ongoing drama training with David Johnson in Manchester and even some glamour photography!! Not bad for an old lady. I also have a lovely letter of recommendation From author and director Terry Johnson for anyone who wishes to see it.

  • Reinvention after retirement from social work led to my becoming a life and photographic model in August 2011. When the reinvention process was almost complete ( through the process of weight loss) I needed to consider what I really wanted from life and the answer came from my son, Guy, who had suggested amongst other occupations, life modelling. Since then I have found a new and exciting career which has also brought me to the stage, having a small but integral part touring in Terry Johnson’s play ‘Hysteria’ during 2012. This part is due to reprised at the Hampstead Theatre from Sept 5-Oct 12th 2013 where I also had the part of 'Anna'
    I was surprised at the positive response I had when first advertising myself as a life model and it still never ceases to surprise me when approached by people who would like to work with me. My photographer husband, David (DavidAnthonyImagery) has also found an additional use for me now that I am more comfortable in front of a camera.
