About me
I am an actor-writer, and a recent graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This training involved voice training, Lecoq and Grotowski based movement studies, ensemble training, intensive training and performance at the Globe Theatre and a professional placement in a Shakespeare season, as well as a premiere of 'Happier or Better' by Lynda Radley. I also wrote and directed 'The Edge of You' which premiered at The Citizen's Theatre in Glasgow and went onto a run at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe and as part of the 'Untold Stories' festival at the Pleasance in London. I co-wrote and devised 'Best Before' with HISSYFIT for Camden People's Theatre's Feminist new writing festival 'Calm Down Dear' in 2019, and were invited back for a run in 2020 which was suspended due to COVID 19.My training prior to this year was with Fourth Monkey Theatre Company, a repertory Theatre Company based in North London, which also included voice by Sarah Case and Gary Horner, Clowning taught by Mitch Mitchelson and Stephen Sobal and contemporary text work by Toby Clarke. I have also done Acting for Screen masterclasses with Jack Ryder and stage combat classes. I am a graduate from Warwick University with a First Class Degree in English and Theatre Studies and I love engaging with new ideas, writing and challenges.
