About me

Acting experience:
Bethany Billy has worked in various roles throughout her career in film and television. Her feature film work includes portraying the duel personalities of ‘Annabella’ and ‘Lilith’ in the fantasy drama ‘Pinky’ and depicting ‘Diana Ellis’ in documentary drama ‘London Recruits’. This true story is based on Diana’s experiences as an undercover agent during the South African apartheid regime. Other feature films in which she have been involved include ‘Assassins Creed’, ‘Dumbo’ and ‘Dolittle’. Within these projects she worked as a stand-in for the child actors and actresses on the shoot.

In relation to television, last summer Bethany played lead role of ‘Kat Starr’ in ‘Pan Tau’, released December 2020. In addition, she has played supporting roles in the television series ‘Pete vs Life’ and ‘Brave New World’. Bethany's on screen experience also includes acting in, and co-writing the award-winning web-series ‘Element 186’. Furthermore, she participated in the BBC One reality TV show ‘The Customer is Always Right’, in which she tested prototype products for budding entrepreneurs. Bethany was cast for this role directly from videos she had made for her YouTube channel. She enjoys the autonomy that creating her own projects on YouTube gives her, allowing her to conceive an initial idea and see it through to publishing.

Additional skills:
Other interests includes song writing, performing and making music with her band, ‘COMPANION’. She enjoys poetry writing, digital art and pursuing a healthy, sustainable way of living.
