About me
I have always enjoyed literature and performing and I have worked in this field since graduating. My creative writing training has led to my involvement in numerous devised pieces, from one-woman shows to musicals, and my analytical training has contributed heavily to my work on classic texts. I have a particular interest in decreasing the gender gap by re-examining well-known texts and exploring the breaking of gender casting.Additional skills:
Puppetry has been a part of my work in several shows and I also have experience in Welsh folk dancing.
Additional information:
I specialise in the Meisner Acting Technique and have tutored adult classes and I am a fully qualified teacher and tutor, offering national courses, such as GCSEs and A Levels, in English and Drama. I am an accomplished cellist, playing in orchestras, and I also volunteer with environmental groups.
