About me

Originally from Yorkshire but now living in Essex. I trained for three years at Elmhurst Ballet School from 2003 - 2006 and after a wonderful career in dance, I'm currently pursuing work as an actress.
Aiming to continue developing my career on stage and screen. I am constantly educating myself through classes, workshops, short courses and books to establish this part of my craft as a performer.
I'm conscientious, reliable and easy to work with. I learn fast and work hard both in and out of the arts. I've always travelled for work and enjoyed the wide variety of projects I've worked on over the years. I think this has made me a rounded and grounded individual, with a good amount of life experience to take forward into my acting career also.
Alongside acting, I write for an online health and fitness company which I love as it exercises a different part of creativity and I feature in their online video content as a fitness instructor. I also teach dance and work with children on a regular basis.
Acting experience:
I have been in the industry for 15 years and worked in a variety of different settings from classical ballet, musical theatre, cabaret, cruise ships, film and live television. I have been a lead in theatre and in film. I have also been a Swing, Dance Captain and Assistant Choreographer during this time which has given me a level of responsibility as well as improving my professionalism.

I have played one of the leads in 'Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage' in the West End and during a UK tour. I have a lot of experience working as an actor in immersive style events, up close with the audience, holding character for long periods of time. These events and companies include Cerebrum Events at Immersive London and The Vaults, London. MoneyPenny Murder Mysteries, Moonstone Murders and LittleChico Productions.
I've worked on sets as both a dancer and actress for TV, online and corporate adverts, a Channel4 ident, three short films, two music videos and a feature film.
Additional skills:
I also teach dance, so I work with children and young adults on a regular basis. I have a level 5 teaching diploma with the British Ballet Organisation and hold an enhanced DBS.
I run frequently and practice yoga and Pilates weekly, I'm also very familiar with the use of gym equipment and I am First Aid trained.
I have been assistant choreographer on the 2021-22 UK tour and West end run of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage, as well as the 2018 European tour of the same show.

Dancer:
I trained for 3 years at Elmhurst Ballet School, studying Ballet, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Jazz and number of other disciplines. I graduating in 2006 with a Diploma in Classical and Contemporary Dance. Since graduating I have worked a number of different jobs giving me great experience in various styles. I am a keen professional with good energy and focus, to bring the best in everything I do.
Additional skills:
Singing to a good level, tap dance, Irish soft shoe and hard shoe. Spanish, Ballroom inc Waltz, latin, Quickstep and swing. Jazz, commercial street.
