About me

I'm an actress with an extensive theatre career with a passion for understanding the film industry on and behind camera. You can often find me online reading for peoples self-tapes and auditions on Weaudition.com/carolynmaitland.

My most recent professional role was playing the lead female protagonist in RAGS, Rebecca Hershkowitz. A Russian immigrant in 1910's New York. You can listen to our Original London Cast Recording of Rags which was released in May, on most streaming music sights.

I love a challenge & love learning and growing from all my jobs and experiences. I have a small amount of screen experience In contrast to theatre but pride myself in being versatile, varying the roles I play & the styles I do.
Acting experience:
17 years experience on various stages around the world. Mainly on the Londons West end, but also in America, China, Sweden, Greece and many more.
Film experience includes; Live Music event (Mobo awards), Live Show filming, both 'Miss Saigon' and 'From Here To Eternity'.
