About me
*Update Jan 2022*:I have just been cast in role of Bob in ‘Things I know to be True’ by Andrew Bovell. This is an Andrew Corcoran Production which will be performed at the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham in June/July 2022.
I am a West Midlands based actor, born and bred in Birmingham. I have been involved in both amateur and professional work for over 20 years and am an experienced actor, director and teacher.
My castings have ranged from the serious to the comedic, and I love the challenge of taking on diverse, quirky and challenging roles as my credits will testify.
Added to this, I have had two acting engagements with the Royal Shakespeare Company: Pander in ‘Pericles’ (2012) and Bottom in ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ (2016).
Recent film work has included two short films in 2020: ‘Speak to me Jack’ an exploration of dementia, and ‘Closed Until Further Notice’, a comedy centred on the early days of the pandemic. The latter received inclusion at over 20 local, nationwide and international film festivals. You can view both films on You Tube.

I have extensive experience in improvisation work, having been involved in interactive theatre dinner events for murder mystery companies, as well as corporate roleplay work and training.
Before turning professional, I was a successful drama teacher and trainer, and therefore am also highly experienced in delivering a whole range of diverse drama workshops and training at primary, secondary and adult level. I have also directed a number of productions with both students and adults alike, as well as writing plays for the festival circuit.
