About me
Christopher was awarded a full scholarship from newspaper "The Stage" to train at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. During his time at Mountview he received a commendation for his work, and went on to represent the Academy in the Hobson's Prize. In March 2020, Christopher had returned to Austria to reprise his roles of Sir Simon de Canterville and Lord James Canterville in "Spooked!" with Vienna's English Theatre, which he'd performed in five years previously. He was then scheduled to play Don John and Leonato in Illyria's UK tour of "Much Ado About Nothing", before returning to The Regal Theatre in Tenbury Wells to play King Edward in their Christmas pantomime, "Sleeping Beauty".
The coronavirus pandemic curtailed these plans, and on returning to the UK Christopher remained active by playing Claudius in an open-air production of "Hamlet", and took the role of the son of the lead in "The Cleverest Thief", a film about his mother's struggle with dementia, and how their family adapted to it.
With restrictions lifted in 2021, Christopher joined Illyria as anticipated and toured the country with them for three months, avoiding any covid-enforced breaks in the schedule. He then joined the Guildford Shakespeare Company as Macbeth and Mercutio/Friar Lawrence in their autumn tours of "Macbeth" and "Romeo & Juliet", before finishing the year at The Regal.
During the Christmas schedule, Christopher stepped up to play the Dame when the original actor tested positive for Covid, before returning to play the King for the end of the run. He has since been offered a third production at The Regal for Christmas 2022, playing the evil Sheriff of Nottingham in "Robin Hood".
