About me

Claire plays Pauline in the feature film 'The Last Twitch' which recently wrapped in winter 2021. Claire recently played Clarissa in 'Spiders Web', Hannah, Dianah and Gert in 'California Suite', Sheila in 'Relatively Speaking' Mags in 'Handbagged' and Essendine in 'Present Laughter' by Noel Coward at Windsor Theatre Royal, Chesterfield Pomegranate and New Theatre Peterborough for Paul Taylor-Mills. She has recently played Aphra Behn in 'Oranges & Ink' at Tristan Bates Theatre (to glowing reviews). She played Mrs Smith in feature film 'Borley Rectory' opposite Reece Shearsmith, which is currently available to stream on Netflix.

She has worked extensively on stage and screen. On screen Claire has played main supporting roles in numerous feature films including Beattie in 'The Magic Hour' (which was screened at BAFTA as part of the London Film Festival, and had a UK cinema release), Ms Conrad in 'Telling Lies' (with Jason Flemyng and Melanie Brown which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and had a world-wide release), and the Young Nurse in 'Provoked' which starred Miranda Richardson, Robbie Coltrane and Aishwarya Rai, premiered at Cannes, and came out on world-wide cinema release. She has also worked for the BBC on voice overs for a series of Doctor Who DVD featurettes.

On stage Claire played Vivianne in a production of the lost 1950s play 'Women of Twilight', at both The Pleasance and White Bear Theatres. It received outstanding reviews. Claire toured with the hit Olivier winning play ‘Handbagged’ written by Moira Buffini on its UK No 1 Tour, 'Funny Peculiar' - a Bill Kenwright No 1 Tour, played Elizabeth in 'Blind Eye' at Theatre 503 and played Sonia in the play 'Child Z' at the Southwark Playhouse. Other work has included roles at the West Yorkshire Playhouse (Carnival Messiah), Finborough (I'm Dreaming, But Am I?), The Space (The Shape of Things), and National Tours of classical theatre (Romeo and Juliet).

Additional information:
Claire worked on the popular German TV 'Rosamunde Pilcher' (an episode called 'Stolen Summer') which was screened on ZDF in Germany and 30 other countries.
