About me

I am a UK based actor, trained in Meisner and acting-for-screen techniques, with a passion for acting in both film and theatre.
My character age range is late forties to late fifties and am experienced in performing both drama and comedy across a range of media.
I have portrayed a number of diverse types including authority figures and villains, professorial / learned types, gentle father figures & uncles and even romantic leads. My characterisation also includes a range of styles such as haughty aristocratic, violent and psychopathic, gentle/grieving as well as inept and/or comedic characters. Also, I have a range of accents from RP to Common, plus a General/Southern American to call upon.
I am experienced with scripted roles in both the professional theatre (having performed in plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen & Arthur Miller) and commercial television, as well as having a growing number of short and feature length film work in my portfolio.

I rediscovered my passion for acting a couple years ago, having done a lot as a child, when, after 25+ years working in industry, I decided to make a life-choice change and pursue a career in something that I truly loved and enjoyed. Ever since, I have taken every opportunity to hone my craft through work and am constantly seeking to improve my skills by attending a multitude of courses and workshops in screen and theatre acting.
I am enthusiastic, flexible and professional and will always be fully committed to any role taken on. Furthermore, I am told that I take direction very well and will always work tirelessly to bring to life the director's vision.
