About me

Despite looking and sounding quite distinctive as a character 'type' at first glance, David has excelled in and relished playing multiple roles in many of the plays he has worked on over the years including Road, Temp/Casual, Trojan Women, Taming of the Shrew, Romeo & Juliet, London Assurance, Confusions, Passage and Great Expectations, in addition to very diverse characters on screen and audio, demanding wide ranges of physicality and accents.

For Voice work, David operates his own fully featured and equipped 32-bit/192Khz recording studio, so can provide the additional advantage of recording and producing the scripted audio and master it to required specifications for the client's own editing;and has experience working with a huge range of accents and character voices, recording for the BBC, video games and independent audio drama.

David also teaches Psychophysical Transformative Acting - an open approach to acting that he has developed over the past 18 years, running some very successful workshops, classes and private lessons for beginners and established actors alike.
