About me

Best known as the face of the Extreme Improv Comedy Show, David is a skilled comedic actor, improviser, director, author and playwright.

Author of the Extreme Improv Big Book of Improv Games, and Ultimate Guide to Creating Virtual Theatre, both of which were ranked number #1 theatre and acting books on Amazon in multiple countries upon release.

Professionally trained at Drama Studio London, as well as part of the BBC Talent Boost programme with the Actors Centre London.

I am also the artistic director of Sparky Buddy Productions film and theatre production company, and Extreme Improv, having produced films and shows in many festivals and top London fringe venues and internationally.

I am a presenter as well as an actor, and am very confident with autocue and talkback. I have a fun, light hearted and witty approach to presenting/interviewing guests and am very adaptable under pressure.

Full details of act:
I specialise in the areas of performance improvisation and performance poetry. This can include entertaining as a solo performer or as part of a double act or group. My improvisation act includes performing comedic speeches, songs, scenes and poems made up on the spot based on audience suggestions.
As a performance poet I have a large back catalogue of poetry I have written on many themes, but can also write material to fit your needs, be it a theme for an event or a piece written specifically about an individual for a birthday/wedding/comedy roast.
