About me

I pride myself on being a flexible, reliable and trustworthy person and I have never let anyone down with whom I have worked. I also have a large amount of availability as I took very early retirement from my regular job in late 2013.

I have performed in many lead and supporting roles within the local non professional theatre scene over the last 15 years.

I have done lots of background extra/supporting artiste work, but I'm looking to continue my development with professional speaking roles in TV, film and commercials.

I am the director of Bravo Theatre Company (established July 2014) which has now presented a number of profit share productions in Wigan and Salford. I appeared in four of these: 'The Importance of Being Earnest', 'Twelfth Night', the world premieres of 'All That Glitters' and 'Dangerous Sequins of Events'. In 'All That Glitters', I portrayed the last Tsar of Russia, Nicholas II.

I appeared in my first professional theatrical roles in 2015: 'Snatched From Home' at Salford Arts Theatre in the GM Fringe Festival and 'The Séance' at Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester.

I have been involved in many sessions of improvisation and am used to thinking on my feet. My work in theatre has taught me how to create a 'back story' and build a character but also how to take direction and work with both small and large groups of actors and technicians.

I attended acting classes with Lee Boardman's "Actor Tribe" in Stockport for a year, working with well known actress Sally Carman.

In February 2018, I completed the Drama Direct Professional Stage Acting Masterclass led by well known actor Mark McGann.

I have a full clean UK driving licence and my own transport, a "crew style" van which can take up to 5 passengers as well as having space for a large amount of props.
