About me
Elliot has a BA Hons in Acting from Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since graduating he has continued to act but has also written and devised comedy shows and short films. For some years Elliot performed in Stomp as the comedy role, playing in London's West End and in theatres across Europe and the UK including Wembley and the O2 Arena. Other theatre credits include: Bassanio in the Merchant of Venice, Prince Hal in Henry IV parts 1&2, 'B' in Fulgens and Lucres (a Tudor interlude) and Toad in Wind in the Willows. Elliot is fond of Shakespeare and, as well as performing in many productions, has also worked with the Young Shakespeare Company in devising and delivering mixed media lectures, helping students to understand the syntax and rhetoric of traditional text through practical application and oration.Additional skills:
Stage combat is a strong skill in Elliot's set and he has a variety of experience leading teams of people. On many productions involving stage combat that he has taken part in he has been given the task of being Fight Captain. This involves working under strict safety conditions, creating realistic choreography and managing it to the actors ability, and running warm ups and workshops. Elliot also grew up around horses and is a competent rider and driver of horse and cart.
Additional information:
Elliot has been involved in other research and development work including: Face to Face, a largely physical piece produced to tackle language barriers, and In the Thrice-Ninth Kingdom, a play looking at the effects of political asylum and Eastern European views on homosexuality. As well as these Elliot has co-written and developed: The Other Room, a short comedy film; Mum's Gone Away, a comedy sketch show; A Great British Party, a choreographed combat piece performed in an audience interactive environment.
