Performed in an array of different university society productions during my degree, ranging from comedy to Shakespeare. Productions such as: performing in Avenue Q musical for university society, playing the character, Christmas Eve. Production won NODA North West District 1 Award 2018 for Best Musical. First performed at Edinburgh Fringe 2017, in a production for the university drama society, where I gained experience puppeteering a bunraku doll, shadow and rod puppets. Used my puppetry skills to create an abstract mock-documentary film, which I also played the main character, as my final project which achieved a high first. Awarded the Outstanding or innovative audio visual work Prize by the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures. Co-founded a multimedia arts platform called Insane; aiming to provide a safe sharing space for artists to share their testimony of mental health through their creative practice. As well as helping run the charity-fundraising events, I also acted as a compere for the line-up of performances. Obtained my first professional acting job after I graduated university in November 2018, played the lead female role in a dark comedy/thriller called Hidden in this Room. Work as a freelance filmmaking facilitator at Gorse Hill Studios, teaching young people who are no longer in mainstream education how to make films, teaching skills such as: storyboarding, stop-motion animation, editing, and other practical effects. Worked as an actress for charity, TiPP. Most recent theatre experience was at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe 2019, performing in a professional production, named ‘More Fool You Part I & II’, in which I also created the promotional trailer for. Currently volunteering as a role play actress for phoneline trainees at the Greater Manchester Rape Crisis.
