About me

I am a bilingual Chinese actress based in the U.K. I speak fluent Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese and Wu dialect) and English, basic French and Japanese.

I have done feature films, short films, TV, commercials and corporate videos.
Additional skills:
I teach dance, choreograph, direct and produce cabaret shows and dance theatre, deliver storytelling and Chinese calligraphy, origami and lantern making workshops.

I play basic Chinese horizontal flute (XIAO).

I also do a lot of sports including squash, tennis, running, fencing, martial arts and swimming.

I am experienced in choreography, performing, dance teaching and directing and have been working on a number of productions including theatre, MTV, competition, events and etc. I would like to share my skills with other people and learn new things from others.

I was born in a city called Linhai in Zhejiang Province south of Shanghai on the eastern coast of China. I came to the UK to study in 2001 when I was 20. I started modelling when I was a student in Liverpool University to earn money to support my studies. I have done modelling for Sky TV Disney commercial 2013, Salford University 2010, Manchester Metrolink and World of Dance, appeared in 2013 BBC3 Bollywood Carmen, 2010 Philips film 'Dark Room', 2009 BBC 1 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me', 2008 Blackburn College advert and 2007 BBC Manchester Passion and did TV presenting at Linhai City TV Channel in 2001.
