About me
Francesca is an actor, writer and producer, currently studying MA Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at RCSSD.Francesca co-founded Masked Pony Productions, a female-focussed (not female only) production company with her comedy partner, actor and stand up comedian Katy Poulter. They are currently producing sketch show "Babyhood" alongside co-writer and director BBC's Kirsty Robinson Ward.
Masked Pony Productions won best pilot sitcom at the prestigious Edinburgh International TV festival 2017. Francesca and Katy are also known as comedy duo "We Don't Hate Men" on social media platforms.
As a solo writer/producer Francesca won Best Animated Film at Portobello Film Festival and she was shortlisted in the Funny Women Awards twice, most recently shortlisted in the David Nobbs Comedy Writing competition for her dramedy "Stick It To Me", which is about a couple trying to conceive through IVF.
As an actor Francesca has appeared in BBC soaps, sit-coms, British Feature Films and various Theatre Productions.
Francesca is passionate about young people and creating theatre for social change, she works for various theatre companies delivering issue based creative projects.
Francesca is an experienced role player and facilitator. Having trained in Forum Theatre and Motivational Interview Technique she often works with corporate companies delivering workshops that explore topics like mental health in the work place and mediation.
