About me
I have studied acting since I was eight years old as I had a strong passion for performing. I currently graduating Liverpool Media Academy and am in my third year studying a BA (Hons) in acting. Before university, I studied at Birmingham Ormiston Academy studying BTEC Level 3 in acting, graduating with D* D* D*. Throughout the years I have been involved with several unique and different styled projects, some within uni/ college and some out of education. What I really aim to do is to push myself and my skills as an actor as well as working with other people as an ensemble. I want to pursue every opportunity to help me gain more experience in acting and become a more diverse actor helping to widen my range. As an actor, I constantly try to adapt, change, and utilise theatre to capture the authenticity of what it means to be human. Aiming to provoke change and debate within my work, I implement this ethos:" Art is not a mirror held up to reality, but a hammer with which to shape it." - Bertolt Brecht. Furthermore, I specialise in abstract movement, immersive and physical theatre inspired by practitioners like Frantic Assembly, Steven Berkoff and Lee Strasberg.
