About me
I have been involve in theatre and performance from a very young age, taking part in youth productions and playing young chorus parts in shows like Joseph, Evita before going onto take part more prominently with companies like 'Duckegg Theatre' and 'Rather Be Productions'. Taking part in Duckegg Theatre's acting, musical theatre, and young professional classes I have had the opportunity to learn and embrace a varity of roles, styles and experiences. With Duckegg I took part in three original performances at the Fringe, two of which have gone onto tour. I was the first Actor to play 'Brian' in the show 'Leave Hitler To Me Lad' by Haley Cox, that has recently had a short run on London's West End. Although now much too old to reprise my role for the third time, I was asked to join the production as Assistant Director and do the tech in London. I jumped at the opportunity which allowed me to work with the show again in a completely different environment.Now having finished my A levels, in Drama and Theatre, Creative Writing and History, I'm looking to finally be able to do the work I've always wanted.
Additional skills:
I play the guitar and sing as a part of a show choir.
I have experience with film and audio editing, specifically using adobe software. I have written both songs and script in the past for use on the stage. Can do a variety of stylised character voices. I also have practise drawing, sketching and colouring, particularly in comic book style.
Additional information:
As well as acting I have a lot of interest in writing, especially for theatre and audio. As well as writing and directing a short musical with Duckegg Young Professionals company I have created my own Radio pilots, wanting to learn how to edit and record for radio. With a few of my friends I have formed a comedy group that perform original scripts, sketches and improv.
