About me

I have a B-tech National Diploma in Performing Arts, and I have since gone on to complete a master class course at the Academy of Radio Film and TV. Graduating from Middlesex University where I studied Film, I feel both positive and enthusiastic about the distinctive attributes that I can contribute to your film as a Black British actress. First, I would like to tell you more about the depth of my acting knowledge.

Studying performing arts has equip me with the skills to understand the role of an actress in theatre, and ability to understand and interpret material such as Shakespear, Chekhov and many others. Not to mention learning the various styles and techniques of Stanislavsky or Alexander.

My degree in film studies and production provided me with understanding acting, from the perspective of the camera. Studying film allowed me to focus on the history of screen acting, by looking at how it developed over the years. I am aware the styles and traits of award winning actresses across both Europe and the United States dating back as far as the first academy award ceremony in 1930's. I have learned about influential figures from the silent era such as Mary Pickford, Louise Rainer, right the way through the decades, I studyied the styles and techniques of award wining actresses such as Julie Andrews, Katherine Hepburn, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, and Julia Roberts.

In 2009 my production & performance skills were marketed by British Television Network ITV, in a competition to become the next 'Loose Women' panel member. I made four special guest appearances on the show as myself, after approximately 24.000 people familiar with the productions I have been apart of, voted for me to appear on the live TV panel as someone they would like to see everyday.

Trained, qualified, experienced and marketed, I am confident about working professionally as a national and international actress.
Additional skills:
In Dec 2007 I received a UK award for producing, directing and editing two music video's, to be later judged by Black Filmmaker (Bfm). One of these videos was for the group UFO, now known across the media now as JLS, who later went on to win second place to Alexander Burke in Series 5 of X Factor 08. Over 13.000 people on the Internet have since viewed my 'Stand By Me Beautiful Girl' Music Video, which featured JLS
