About me

Born in Australia, I am an actor/singer now based on the Isle of Wight, having lived in London for over a decade.
Engaged in theatre, film and tv since I was a child. Continuing the journey into these interesting times we find ourselves in; needing to look more to online versions and home recordings, to stay safe during this pandemic.
I have excellent sound equipment for just this, and can record video to the laptop.

Singer:
Krysia Mansfield is a singer, actress and performing artist.
Her voice is a rich mezzo and her styles range from art song and operatic roles to jazz, soul and free improvisation in the context of film, tv, theatre, live & recorded. Her eclectic taste in music was significantly inspired by collaborations whilst completing a Bachelor of Arts Music at the University of Western Sydney.
As an actress she studied Stanislavsky – Uta Hagen & Yat Malemgren
Character Analysis with Pip McKay & Tim Robins in Sydney and more recently the Sanford Meisner way of acting with Tom Radcliffe in London.
With extensive movement/dance theatre training & collaboration with Ruth Galene of Red Opal Dance Theatre, Krysia is at home in the context of sound and space; creating solo & collaborative pieces for live situations, site specific events & recordings. Her compositions include melodic tunes with playful lyrics, sound tracks and experimental soundscapes.
