About me
As a creative psychological anthropologist, Armineh’s work surrounds people.A qualified Level 3 counsellor (IPHM) with capacity to offer emotional support, and emotional guidance on set; both personally, and for the assumed character.
Performing with the National Youth Theatre in the Black Country museum and becoming involved with every school play and musical growing up is where the passion for acting grew. The performance at the Black Country museum required travel of up to nearly 3 hours each day to and from the location, in the name of pursuing passion and being amongst great people. This is where determination and willpower developed through practise.
With a BSc in Anthropology (psychological) understanding humans, our motives, our emotions, our social life, and desires are Armineh’s forte. Having studied personhood and psychological anthropology extensively at Brunel University of London, received full marks (A*) in A Level Psychology at King Edward VI sixth form, her academic capabilities shine when it comes to human emotion, expression, and the self. Acting is a sacred space where humanness is taught, explored, and felt. She received a Distinction grade in Performance Arts (Acting) aged 16.
Creativity has always played a role in Armineh’s research and work with anthropology. The final dissertation - which achieved praise for being one of the most innovative dissertations seen on the course -was research surrounding role-play and self formation with the London Actors Workshop.
Finally, Armineh is currently inventing an immersive pop-up book which facilitates therapy sessions in her MA Interaction Design at the University of Arts London, LCC. Having worked in various student productions in front of the camera, there is confidence and excitement with every engagement. Described as joyful, and determined to perform to excellent standards. As well as acting, she is also well versed in dancing, gymnastics, and swimming, with a particular niche of underwater performances and entertainment as a mermaid.
We look forward to working with you
