About me
Lily is an accomplished Soprano singer from the Nottingham area who started at the age of 9 as a member of the prestigious Cantamus Training Choir.She has a First Class BA Hons from the London College of Music and hopes to continue with her classical training by doing an MA in Opera performance and joining the Young Performers Scheme with an Opera company.
Lily has successfully played main parts in numerous shows, most recently playing the part of Maria in West Side Story and has been lucky to work with top industry stars such as Michael Xavier, Peter Polycarpou, Maria Friedman and Ramin Karimloo.
She has performed with several choirs and has been accompanied by full Orchestras, Jazz, Brass and Military Bands.
As well as being a classical singer she also has an "Alter Ego" called “Miss Lily Lovejoy" who entertains at various 1940's, ww1/ww2 events.
Lily has performed at Top Venues such as: Her Majesty's' Theatre London and The Royal Albert Hall. As well as venues nearer to home like, The Birmingham Hippodrome, BBC Radio Nottingham and The Royal Centre Nottingham. She has also performed at the Nottingham Forest Football Stadium, where she had the great pleasure of singing at the first match of the season in front of 24,000 fans!
