About me

I am currently studying my BTEC level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts MT at Shockout Academy, where I train intensively in all genres. Here I am gaining the appropriate skills needed to be a high skilled triple threat performer in the industry. I undergo weekly classes in dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, commercial, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, heels, Latin and singing and acting private and group classes. Throughout the course so far, I have displayed favourable attendance and punctuality throughout my first year. I have also displayed the same number of passions and ambitions towards my acting private lessons outside of my college timetable. Additionally, I attend weekly acting classes with industry
professionals.

I have covered specific roles in soaps such as Hollyoaks and Waterloo Road. Here I have been able to widen my knowledge and experience within the demanding industry. I also have experience within the West End and have completed two summers Attending the rehearsals of Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty. This educated and inspired me, and I have made me even more passionate and determined to reach my goal of becoming a Performer/Actor in the industry. Additionally, I also found that the Shockout Academy show that I was apart of in April 2021 was a great way for me to gain more experience on stage and more importantly the process of getting from the rehearsals to the final product was extremely interesting to me and I understood how much effort, commitment and communication skills are necessary to be able to do a show like this one. This course has taught me a lot about resilience, confidence, and discipline in all areas this is important for me as these life skills will help me in the industry.

I have always had such a passion around the Arts since as long as I can remember I was always asking to be filmed and writing my own scripts for shows. This passion just grew for me, and I just knew it's where I wanted to be and what I want to pursue and improve on to be the best version of myself as a triple threat performer. I have a love for acting the most out of the 3 disciplines. I can really become a character and enjoy being naturalistic and attentive to their personal life and story. My love for acting will never scarper, I am extremely ambitious in anything acting related, as I want to push myself to be at my best ability and I am open for lots of constructive criticism within this subject and it excites me as I want to improve and to see the progress to enable me to be as successful as possible within the industry.

The skills I have that would make me perfect for the different roles would be that I am motivated and persistent, I know what I want to achieve, and I am ambitions to do so. I have made numerous trips to London to attend various west end masterclasses to widen my experience as well as talking to inspiring industry professionals, attending masterclasses with industry actors and directors to widen my knowledge and experience in the acting world ,working on set for both hollyoaks and Waterloo road (my favourite part ever!) i am so passionate to work as hard as I possible can to land a role , acting is just someone I know I was brown to do and I couldn’t imagine life without it.

My ambitions I have for my future career would be that I feel strongly about being around tv and film and to play some sort of role in this would be immensely rewarding. I also would enjoy playing a part on West End or a play as I like both the tv and film side of performance where it is more minimal and naturalistic and then stage which is more outgoing and I am besotted with how enriching it is once the show is finished, and you have the audience appreciating your performance. With the quality skills I have gained over these 2 years on this Musical theatre course I believe I will have the skills needed to fulfil my goals in this amazing industry, and i cannot wait to get started and take my next steps into the industry as a working actor.
