About me
Lucy is a passionate British actress with a hunger for telling stories creatively. She has spent the last few years playing a wide variety of roles across various mediums. She's been lucky enough to have her work featured on some really exciting projects including TV, feature films, theatre tours, short films, commercials and music videos. She is a confident team player on screen, up for new challenges when trying something new and responds well to direction. A recent review in The Guardian described her performance in one-woman show is quoted as saying: "This interactive solo performed by Lucy Aarden as the Stratford playwright is irresistible – even the chickens love it"
Acting experience:
Lucy was this year listed as one of IMDb’s top 500 actresses in the world after appearing in HBO’s Game of Thrones, BBC Comedy’s Tracey Ullman Show and Amazon Prime’s Hanna. On stage, she spent three consecutive summers touring the UK with Permanently Bard playing some of Shakespeare’s most well-known heroines to audiences of rowdy pub-goers. Back in London at The Pleasance Theatre, Lucy was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Laura Wade’s Posh. At The Greenwich Theatre, she performed in an experimental version of Macbeth. A career highlight for Lucy was a three-month tour of Romeo & Juliet across the length and breadth of Italy in which she played Juliet. During lockdown, with the virtual company #ShowMustGoOnline, Lucy played Julia in their debut Two Gentlemen of Verona and later in an all-star cast return production of Richard II where she played Lady Anne. Over 100k audience members have now tuned in.
