About me
Lydia is a member of the Television Workshop, Salford and BritWood, Liverpool. She was previously a member of the Peninsula Academy of Film and Theatre Arts: PAFTALydia is a focused, serious young actor with a passion for and delight in performing. She enjoys exploring emotions in performance, communicating a story through mime and expressive dance and rising to new and challenging roles. Lydia appears sweet, feminine and delicate and has a vulnerable and innocent air. However, she is described as having a wisdom in her eyes and a strength of character that means, when performing, Lydia can one minute be caring, emotional and sensitive and the next, plucky, independent, fiery and adventurous. She has enjoyed a range of roles from Tinkerbell to zombie killer.
Lydia is ready and champing at the bit for new experiences in film and theatre.
"Lydia is an enthusiastic and polite girl who is easy to work with. She takes direction very well and is keen to learn more about the craft at every opportunity. She works exceptionally hard and is always well prepared."
Georgina Gibbard: Peninsula Academy of Film and Theatre Arts.
In her spare time Lydia loves making short story and dance films with her friends and family, drawing, sewing, baking, interior decoration, and gardening in a little garden she designed herself. She loves all things vintage and reading old fashioned children's stories.
