Marina has over 10 years experience internationally as a lead singer, front-woman, backing vocalist and session singer. She has supported artists such as Alicia Keys, Brian May, Paloma Faith, Madness, Jess Glynne, Jessie J, Boyzone, JLS and All Saints, and has worked with Peter Andre, X factor winners Sam Bailey and Louisa Johnson to name a few.
Growing up, Marina learned to play the clarinet. She learned to read music, but also liked to play by ear.
Some of her most recent live vocal performances include the Dubai Film Festival, Make a Wish Foundation Ball, The Harrods Ball, the prestigious Water Rats Ball and the W Hotel’s NYE event in Qatar. Other clients include Samsung, Abu Dhabi Park Hyatt, The Commercial Radio Awards and De Vere’s Hotel Group. She has performed all over the world, from Barcelona, Florence, Holland, to Bali, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, to name a few.
One of Marina’s favourite moments was performing to thousands at Wembley Arena for the Olympic celebrations, though frequently played London venues include the Park Lane Hilton, The Dorchester, Grosvenor House and The Savoy. She has also toured Norway with her Big Band swing concert and fronted reformed 60s band “The Springfields” on a UK theatre tour.
Aside from the live events, Marina has appeared as a vocalist on ITV, ITV2, BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
Some of Marina’s released tracks can be heard on various compilation albums such as James Bond...The Essential Themes and Love Songs... The Ultimate Collection, where she was lead singer, accompanied by the Ian Rich Orchestra. Her vocals can also be heard on several house music albums. She’s also recorded jingles for BBC Radio 2 and has worked alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mike Stock and Pete Waterman.
In March 2019 Marina attended the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Brooklyn, New York for a BBC radio show she was co-hosting, and attended and reported from BeatlesFest, a festival celebrating The Beatles, in New Jersey, USA. -
