About me

Michael Addo is an actor born and based in London. As a child he attended a number of summer schools at Catford's Broadway Theatre and gained an interest in the arts and performing. Michael attended Loughborough University where he graduated with an engineering degree in Sports Technology obtaining a second-class honours degree. Michael returned to London and after working in IT recruitment for a couple of years, he was scouted to join a modelling agency. Whilst working in commercials, Michael worked as a Supporting Artist on a number of TV productions where he rekindled his passion for performing. Michael decided to attend an introduction to acting workshop at the Actors Centre giving him an insight into the industry and started to develop and refine his skills. He also trained at The Actors Centre, The Actors Temple and City Academy studying Meisner, Improv and screen acting. Michael has been cast in a couple of feature films a number of short films and web series most recently appearing in Last Christmas starring Emma Thompson and Emilia Clarke

With a warm friendly personality, strong voice and athletic physique, Michael's look is very versatile and he has a wide casting range.
