About me
I am an actor who has recently completed a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Performance at the Miskin Theatre, where I have trained for four years in total. During my training, I have performed in numerous shows in a variety of different genres, ranging from verbatim to musical theatre. I am someone who has a keen interest in acting for multiple forms of media, including film, television and theatre.Acting experience:
I have performed in an adaptation of Davey Anderson's 'Blackout', about a teenaged boy's transition into a young offender. The next year was followed by 'The Lives They Left Behind' (written and directed by Laura Holland and Lucy Flack), which told the harrowing true stories of patients who were institutionalised at 'Willard State Hospital' in New York and was performed at 'Brighton Fringe', where it received a 4 star review. Following on from this was the British musical, 'Half a Sixpence' and 'Narnia - Through the Wardrobe', a retelling of C.S. Lewis's 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. I also performed in a production Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's 'Into the Woods', in which I was cast as the Big Bad Wolf and as Patrick the Leprechaun in 'Jack Frost and the Guardians of Childhood'.
In addition, I volunteered to be part of a pre-show immersive experience at the Orchard Theatre on Halloween night, for the touring production of 'The Woman in Black', where I played the role of the Ring Master who would meet and greet audience members at the main entrance. In the summer of 2019, I did two summer courses at Rose Bruford College, the first being a Monologue Masterclass with American theatre director, Karen Kohlhaas and the second being a two week acting course, where I performed a abridged adaptation of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and a monologue/duologue showcase called 'I Don't Weep'.
Additional information:
I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome at a young age, but I have not let this get in the way of my passion. I will be starting the 3 Year BA (Hons) in Professional Acting course at Drama Studio London in October 2022.
