About me
Acting has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I believe you never stop learning when it comes to acting and there is always someone in the business you can take expertise from. Most recently I have been cast in a feature film called Caliban, playing the role of a feisty reporter. The feature is currently in development with the aim to begin filming towards the end of the year. Before lockdown I also completed a short film called ‘Plastic Theatre’ being cast as the main role, this was a really exciting project with a very complex character. My acting experience spans a variety of acting, dance and theatre. I have taken all LAMDA examinations from Grade 1 to Grade 8 for Verse & Prose and Acting, I had private drama training from the ages of 8-18 in which I was taught the LAMDA syllabus. I attended Lyndhurst Academy of Dance and Drama from the ages of 12-14 and was asked to be part of the dance troupe in our local theatre production of Jack and the Beanstalk. I also did acting, ballet, tap and modern dancing. From here I began actor training at the Diane Lamont school of speech and drama, then was asked to join the agency- Lamont Casting. Here I did extra work for Hollyoaks and Grange Hill on a weekly basis and I regularly competed in Speech and drama festivals throughout the UK, performing monologues, duologues, Shakespeare, prose reading, improvisation and other types of acting. I usually did about 3 festivals a year across about 8 years. I then went on to study English, Drama and Performance studies at University and devised and performed in a number of plays across the three years, devising and acting in my own play as part of my dissertation. I did a paid presenting job whilst I was at university which involved a tour of the campus that went on the university website to show prospective students a virtual tour of accommodation. Prior to lockdown I had attended First Take School of Acting in Manchester for the past two years- this involved different styles of performances each week- improvisation, group work, monologues, presenting- along with a yearly showcase. I am currently unrepresented and looking for the right agent to support my goals.Acting experience:
