Works as an Actor, Puppeteer, Creature Performer and Movement Artist.

Played 'Merv Pumpkinhead (Body)' in the new Netflix series, The Sandman, from Neil Gaiman.
Played 'The Creature' in the BBC/Netflix series, Requiem.
Had a short stint as 'Foxy' for Foxy Bingo.
Has supplied movement work for companies including: Sony Playstation, Virgin Holidays, Freddy and many more.

Puppeteered for Sky/HBO on The Third Day starring Jude Law, CBeebies (TwirlyWoos), ITV (Newzoids) and many theatre shows including Boris & Sergey and Sing For Your Life. Experienced in Bunraku, Table-top, Glove, Rod, Giant and Muppet style puppetry.

"Nicholas Anscombe, who plays Martin, is astounding in his portrayal of a monster. With a kitchen knife in his right hand, his eyes turn black as his cheeks redden during the climax of the play. He could easily be cast as a villain in a blockbuster psychological thriller."
