About me

I have both acting and supporting artist work experience in films of all lengths including feature films and short films. I have also worked on television series and feature length television films for the BBC and for Sky television. Film and television roles have included period dramas and a variety of more contemporary roles including a psychiatrist, rock musician, detective, uniformed police officer, social worker, documentary film maker and priest. I have appeared in main roles in theatre productions in Manchester and elsewhere including three main roles in productions of Precious Little Talent, Rock and Weird in my Beard and senior supporting roles in A Lot of it about at the Buxton Fringe Festival. I have also taken part in range of other performing activities including Murder Mystery events, Promenade Theatre and Scare Attractions. In short, a wide and varied catalogue of work. I can take direction and am reliable, punctual and totally dependable once I make a commitment. I turned to acting following an academic research career. I have my own transport and can travel anywhere at any time as required. I also play a variety of musical instruments, speak 3 languages and if called upon I can provide a range of UK regional and international accents.
