About me
Acting and I have a significant history. We've been through a lot, from 'head in the clouds' dreaming as a child, being warned off of the profession as a teenager but applying to drama school anyway; to studying new subjects in an attempt to have a “more stable” career and acquiring full-time employment. A few years ago I joined a local theatre company and found that my love for performance and passion for acting was greater than ever: I’ve come full circle to find myself inextricably desirous of an acting career. After being away from it all for a while, returning to both stage and screen demonstrated to me just how much I had missed performing, and just how much acting truly means to me.
My original and most natural domain within acting would be in the genre of comedy, having played comedic roles from an early age, along with some experience performing stand-up whilst at University. However, the growth of my confidence in recent years has allowed me to feel comfortable with being uncomfortable and able to pursue various roles across all genres and styles. Whilst I revel in the shared atmosphere of a live audience, I feel at home in front of the camera.
