About me
From playing Fabian in 'Twelfth Night' at the Young Vic (directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah) to a variety of ensemble characters in 'The Canterbury Tales', Paul is nothing if not multi-talented. This year Paul played McBryde in 'A Passage to India' with the award-winning Tower Theatre in Stoke Newington and he has just completed a Research and Development project with StoneCrabs Theatre, in 'Secret Thoughts' playing Ralph. Paul is also highly skilled in music and singing; he is a singer-songwriter and plays piano to Grade VIII standard. He also plays guitar, violin and ukulele.Acting experience:
Paul has been acting since the age of 11, originally with the Barnet Youth Drama Centre where he won a multitude of acting awards including Best Actor in Barnet. He subsequently attended drama school in the mid-90s; studied Drama at Birmingham University (BA Hons); he also trained with Zippo's Circus, travelling with the circus troupe. His musical and vocal skills has also provided opportunities to perform, for example with the English Speaking Theatre in Copenhagen and in various musicals, including 'Twelfth Night' at the Young Vic Theatre.
Additional skills:
Additional skills in music - excellent pianist, good guitarist, violinist and ukulele player. Also good at basic physical movement and circus skills as Paul was once in Zippo's Circus. He drives and is currently learning tap dancing!
