About me

Experienced SA/actor/model with over 70 credits on Mandy; have performed all my life.
Live in West London (Zone 2), own a car, and have a clean licence.
Am hard-working, confident, enthusiastic, mature, personable, and intelligent, and love to perform. I have a DBS (enhanced level), which I keep current and which can be viewed online (I have made it portable; please ask for further details if you wish to view it).
Acting experience:
Between 1985 and 1998 I played chorus parts in amateur operatics productions of My Fair Lady, Orpheus in the Underworld, Iolanthe, Pirates of Penzance, Princess Ida, the Mikado, Babes in the Woods, etc., etc. In 1992 I appeared in a TV documentary about alcoholism. From 2009 onwards I have been appearing on TV and in You Tube videos as a member of the Royal Choral Society (e.g. Proms in the Park, Anniversary of the Little Ships landing at Dunkirk, etc.). In November 2009 I had a voice-over/acting part in a short film entitled “Last Call” by David Chong Balch. In 2010 I played the part of the nurse to Mrs Reed in the film “Jane Eyre” starring Mia Wasikowska and Judi Dench (Ruby Films; released September 2011); I was also a SA in the Matalan Christmas advertisement for ITV1 (Spank Films). In 2011 I was a SA in the Which Magazine commercial for Dave, E4, and Home digital TV channels (Which/Watson Phillips Norman Agency). In 2014/15 I did beauty shoots for SkinChemist Ltd, a skincare company. In 2014 I was a SA in a feature film (“Miss You Already” starring Drew Barrymore; Embargo Films) and in the “Save the Children” Christmas sweater campaign. In 2015 I was used in a corporate video-shoot for a diabetes treatment (speaking part); appeared in episodes of Eastenders, Holby City, Boomers (BBC1), The Last Panthers (Sky TV), Mr Selfridge, and Lewis (ITV); was a SA in a commercial for Betway and in a training video for Health Education England; was part of a research panel with the Guardian Newspaper, and appeared in a number of online videos (speaking as me); and was filmed for a corporate video on women’s health for Nuffield Health: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAhdK7s4VSw). In 2016 I was a SA in a commercial for the charity Calm and appeared in episodes of Holby City (BBC1), The Royals (Sky TV), and Harlots (ITV Encore); I also appeared in a documentary made for Japanese TV on the de-regulation of its energy market. In 2017 I was a SA in a new comedy series for Channel 4 (Game Face), Holby City, The Royals (Sky TV), and Murder Maps (Netflix, Yesterday TV, etc), and also appeared in a video made for Shell’s Marketing Department. I also appeared as a walk-on artist in the British Airways 2017 Christmas ad and in a new series of the Royals, and was a model in a fashion photoshoot. In 2018 I played the parts of a customer in The Old Vic pub in Eastenders (BBC1), a pub regular in There She Goes (BBC4), a visitor in Holby City (BBC1), a patient in an online medical education video, a hospital visitor in a short film (NSE Production Ltd), and a therapy group member in a short film (Rocking Carrot Ltd). I also was an interviewee for a Deutsche Bank corporate online video and was photographed for the Children’s Society annual guide and carol book. In 2019, I was an SA in an employer branding ad (“Where the best play”), in a TV drama series “Temple”, and a Sky One/NOW TV sitcom “Breeders”; a street worker in the British Safety Council’s “Time to Breathe” campaign; and an actor in an experimental short film (“Spiral”); I also did voice work on behalf of Nic Knight Management. In 2020 I was an actor in a brand video (filmed over Zoom) made by Speeding Films for Just Debt. In 2021, I was a featured extra (posh landlord) in a short, comedy film for Female Narratives in conjunction with UNCLE (property company) and as a posh lady driving a Porsche in a Punjabi-language comedy drama film (Chal Mera Putt 3). I was also an SA in a feature film with the working title “Age” starring Diana Quick, in a short film "The Champion", in the film "Golda" starring Helen Mirren, and in "The Missing Chinese Girl". In 2022, I was an extra in a training video for the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure and in a feature film with the working title “Age” starring Diana Quick. I was also a person in a waiting room for a piece of branded content (Nice CXI) and a community centre visitor in a You Tube health video looking at mental health issues faced by young people, and an extra in branded Christmas content for LADBible and John Lewis.
Dancing experience:
Move well, but little formal training apart from ballroom dancing as a teenager.
Work out daily, so am fit and toned.
Singing experience:
Extensive, and currently a member of an auditioned, professional London choir - the Royal Choral Society; I am a second soprano. Perform frequently, in various venues, including the Barbican, O2 Arena, Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall, etc, etc. I practice my singing on a daily basis.
Modelling experience:
Modelled Jean Muir collection twice when I was a university student. Worked for Skin Chemist Ltd in 2014/15 as a model for beauty shoots and video campaign. Used in a photo shoot by and up-and-coming fashion consultant in 2017. In 2020 I was a model for a healthcare shoot (on psoriasis) with Swordfish Advertising on behalf of Vifor Pharma. In 2021, I was a model (with a live cat) for stills for an animals charity (Wood Green – The Animals Charity). In 2022 I was a model for a dementia care home and a model for a retirement village.
Television experience:
Selected from TV documentary audience to discuss alcoholic strength of various drinks. As a member of the Royal Choral Society performed on Songs of Praise, Proms in the Park, Anniversary of Little Ships (Dunkirk). Extra in ITV Xmas 2010 commercial for Matalan and in 2011 for Which Magazine commercial (digital channels). 2015 - worked as SA on episodes of Eastenders, Holby City, Boomers (BBC1), the Last Panthers (Sky TV), Mr Selfridge, and Lewis (ITV). 2016 - worked as SA on episodes of Holby City (BBC1). 2017 - worked as SA on Channel 4 comedy series and on Holby City. 2018 - worked on Holby City and EastEnders. 2018 - worked as SA in There She Goes (BBC4) and Holby City. 2019 - I was an SA in a TV drama series “Temple”, a Sky One/NOW TV sitcom “Breeders”, and the BBC "Children in Need " campaign. 2020 - I was a lookalike/SA in an episode (“The Last Hours of Randy Savage”) of ITV Studio’s Autopsy series (played the part of the Mother, Judy Poffo, of Randy Savage). In 2021 I was an extra in a BBC film, “Vibes and Stuff”, and in a TV commercial "Paying Too Much". I was also a featured extra in "Deep Heat" and a SA in a TV drama series “Call My Agent” and in a travel insurance TV commercial. Specific skills:
Have a nice speaking voice - Queen's English, young-sounding - am able to do voice-over work well. Have presentation experience; e.g. played the part of a doctor in an information video for a diabetes treatment - read from an auto-cue. Also appeared in a number of videos on the Guardian website as a result of being a panel member for their 2015 election research - played myself. In 2019, did voice work for Nic Knight Management. Files saved in my profile have recordings of my voice should you be interested.

Have worked in an office as a senior PA for 15 years - am very well organised, responsible, and reliable, and always turn up on time. Currently do exam invigilation and student support work in schools and universities alongside my acting/SA/modelling work.

Have a personable, fun, calm, and polite manner, and am a team player.

Play the acoustic guitar.
Am a good swimmer.
Additional skills:
I sing with the Royal Choral Society, one of London's large, professional choirs, performing in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall on a regular basis. I own and play an acoustic guitar. I am fit and toned, and do daily power walks and mat exercises.
Interesting past experiences:
Have travelled extensively, and lived in Canada and Australia for two years/eight months respectively. Have worked in Bangladesh, Israel, Greece, Australia, and Indonesia.

People, the arts, reading, performing, singing (member of a professional choir), health/fitness (mat exercises, power walking), acoustic guitar, spirituality.
Additional information:
I am fit and healthy, and exercise daily, using weights to keep myself toned. I have dark grey, shoulder-length hair, which is completely natural - no highlights even. It is naturally curly/wavy and dries into ringlets. It can be worn up to look more elegant; otherwise can look quite wild and carefree. You can view me here:
