About me
Since the age of 16 I have loved every aspect of this industry and I have worked in almost every department of it, over the years! I started by volunteering at Yorkshire Television Studios during my school holidays and since then I have been a Stand In, Read In for castings, been a Supporting Artist and eventually the Lead in many high profile theatre and television shows.In an industry that doesn't have a specific career ladder to follow, I honestly feel that I have worked my way up like an Apprentice which, I believe, gives me an incredibly rounded view of the world I love to work in.
Additional skills:
I trained as a Pharmacy Dispenser whilst working a Boots the Chemist and have a vast knowledge of prescription medication and can conduct consultations with patients, unaided prescribe treatment where necessary, which has been useful for parts in medical dramas etc.
I am also a writer, I have writen numberous, musicals, stand up routines, comedies and drama for the stage and have recently writen my first screen play called The Ghost Train, which has been filmed by Canny Media and is currently in Post Production due for release DEC 2013.
Additional information:
I am based in Leeds, but travel frequently to London and have a base there.
I have a driving license and a car to get about freely to castings/jobs.
And I have a hideously 'dirty laugh' apparently!
