About me
My Name is Sophia Lorenti,I grew up in South Africa and the Middle East, where I have also been a bright, bubbly and creative person,
Recently I graduated Drama Studio London which was the best decision I ever made!
My tutors have described me as extremely versatile, with terrific comic sense and timing. After my recent role as Julia in The Philanderer, directed by David Tucker. He remarked upon my ‘ability to turn on a sixpence, effortlessly capturing a character’s guile, desperation and passion.’
I have had some success working in the industry, including a feature film, which is available on Netflix. My work experience has also given me familiarity of touring, including time spent performing around the UAE with a regional theatre company. I have a lot of experience in professional and corporate improvisation and perform regularly in London venues with an improvisation theatre company. Outside of the theatre, I am an avid horse rider and free diver. I also recently received a distinction for my stage combat work in ‘Rapier and Dagger’.
