About me

Having trained rather a long time ago I chose not to have a career in acting, then when I was 29 I returned to the stage initially, then through my Manchester Agent I was lucky to have many castings for TV, commercials and film, some of which I did get, I also worked often as an extra. At the same time I was also employed by three Murder Mystery companies, did childrens theatre, fringe theatre and training vidoes, one of my most enjoyable jobs was with a roleplay company. I enjoyed all my acting work very much and now I look forward to new challenges, I am a versatile person and am as happy in drama as well as comedy, my experience is so varied I can guarantee you I will have experience in the field you are casting for, all the companies and casting agents were very happy with me and were more than happy to have me back, I am an old fashioned actor in as much as my work ethic, I am very reliable, hard working and happy to listen to what is asked of me, go on try me, you won't regret it.
Additional skills:
Even though Mature I am very active, walk, run, swimming, cycling, I am an able cook, visual knife skills etc, an able pet handler, and very able with power tools gardening and DIY, my working life has been very varied including my acting career which has been of and on due to Family and now I am able to return full time, which I am very keen to do.
Additional information:
Having worked in many different roles and bringing up 4 children, one as a single parent, and my son and twin girls in a two parent family, I have worked in many varied jobs, inc a dental lab, estate agents, hairdressers, wine shop, landscape gardener, call center, and childrens entertainer and more importantly TY, film, theatre, role play, themed weekends, murder mysteries and training videos. All these jobs have given me life skill that I can bring to my acting, it has made me a more rounded person and an asset to my career from now.
