About me

Born and raised in Liverpool, now living in London, Steve got into acting late in life after a variety of careers in music, social work, counselling, and managing NHS mental health services. He is also an established singer/songwriter/musician. www.stevejonesmusic.net

A natural entertainer, Steve has built up a diverse portfolio of work, including feature films, TV commercials, Documentaries, Voice Over work, music videos, online content and modelling for the likes of Apple, The Football Association, British Airways, Kwik Fit, BBC (Top Gear), The Labour Party, Paddy Power, Dominoes Pizza etc.

From an acting perspective, Steve has been described as being able to portray an extensive range from considered, gentle roles, right through to to rough, aggressive, psychopathic roles (as in 'Shine On' a recent short film portayal of Bibi-La-Puree the Parisian bohemian where Steve murders his wife with his shoe).

Interesting past experiences:
Completed the Pennine Way (275 mile walk) from Derby to Scotland when i was 21 in 12 days and lost 1.5 stone in weight in the process! I was 1972 British Cycling Federation Schoolboy Sprint Champion of Merseyside. For my sins played guitar live onstage with Roland Rat at GLC Farewell Concert Battersea Park.
